Bécsi Corner Office Building

Bécsi Corner Office Building

The award-winning office complex – at the feet of Buda Hills in the center of Óbuda – was constructed in 2009, and combines heritage buildings with newly developed elements on 5,000 sqm.

Preserving the protected monument buildings and harmoniously integrating them into the overall architectural concept was a top priority during the project, as a result of which 8,660 sqm office and 1,940 sqm restaurant and retail space was created. The 20th century school building – greatly defining the cityscape of Kolosy tér with its Classicist brick façade – is the most characteristic part of the complex. Behind the building, on the side of Bécsi út, lies the three-hundred-year-old, two-story Baroque brewery, which was restored to its original form during the renovation. Next to it, all the way until Sajka utca, there are traditional, single-floor houses, typical of Óbuda that have also been renewed with the remodeling of the office building.
